School Money
Appleton is delighted to announce that we are now in a position to offer the facility for parents to make payments online for school meals. School Money is an easy, safe and secure way of paying for your child’s school expenses online.

Free School Meals
You can apply for free school meals if you are in receipt of one of the following benefits –
- income support
- income based jobseekers allowance
- income related employment and support allowance (ESA – IR)
- universal credit
- asylum seekers (receiving support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999)
- the guaranteed element of state pension credit
- child tax credit (with an annual income of no more than £16,190 as assessed by the Inland Revenue)
- working tax credit run on – paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for working tax creditYou can also claim if you are a child over 16 years of age and are receiving a qualifying benefit.

Appleton Primary School has attained a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good) . As this was the third consecutive occasion this school received a top 5 score, Appleton Primary School has qualified for the prestigious Scores on the Doors Elite Award.
