Promoting British Values
Appleton School understands that there are many different types of community in modern Britain.
We are situated in the West of the city of Hull and our city is experiencing rapid, major social changes as its population becomes increasingly diverse.
Appleton Primary School currently has pupils with 10 different languages.
Appleton Primary School will promote the historical and current values that underpin the national identity known as “being British”. Within this, we are required to ensure that the curriculum actively promotes these fundamental British values.
