Year 5/6 had an absolutely fantastic day at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum in Malton. The children were delighted to find the weather allowed them to explore the museum’s many huts (even if some were a little dark), learn about military vehicles used during world war two and of course have fun on the assault course! The children were in fine voice during the 1940’s puppet show and sang along to George Formby and Dame Vera Lynne. The children even got to eat their lunch in the original mess hut! As always, we are proud to say that all children were a pleasure to take – behaviour was excellent both at the museum and during the coach journeys there and back. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the day run so smoothly.
